Our Advent series is an invitation for us to enter the grand narrative of redemption by tracing the story of Christ from creation to consummation. Each week reveals a new facet of Jesus’ identity—Author, Main Character, Hero, Moral, and Resolution of the Story—helping our groups see how all of Scripture and all of history find their meaning in him. Rather than viewing Advent merely as a nostalgic season or sentimental countdown to Christmas, this series re-centers the church on the cosmic significance of Christ’s coming. Every lesson draws participants to look beyond their own stories and into the larger story God is writing—one that begins in divine initiative, runs through the cross, and ends in eternal communion with Jesus.
