sundays at church in the square
Every Sunday, we meet at 10:00 AM at Logan Square Elementary School (3651 W Schubert Ave). We gather to sing songs and learn from the Bible. Our kids enjoy gospel lessons that fit their age group. And we deepen our friendships, which is something we all need in the city.
Current Teaching series
The Gospel of Luke presents Jesus as the compassionate Savior who brings good news to the poor, healing to the broken, and hope to the outsider. Our teaching series through Luke explores how Jesus confronts religious pride, redefines power, and reveals the upside-down nature of God’s kingdom. From his miraculous birth to his sacrificial death and victorious resurrection, Luke emphasizes Jesus’ humanity, his dependence on the Father, and his mission to seek and save the lost. This series invites us to follow Christ more closely—trusting his authority, embodying his mercy, and proclaiming his gospel in a world longing for redemption.

KIDS IN THE SQUARE
On Sundays, our kids are learning about the gospel through curriculum based on the Jesus Storybook Bible.

Students IN THE SQUARE
Our students are learning to trust God and ask big questions—like all of us. Currently, our 6th-12th graders are reading “10 Questions Every Teen Should Ask” and discussing it twice a month.

Introducing Refuge Church
In January, we helped start a new church in Humboldt Park. If that’s your neighborhood, you should check them out!
